Continue your training with Mateua Dive and SSI with this specialty programme to become an advanced diver.
The advanced wreck diving programme provides the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to begin overhead environments diving. Using equipment and procedures specific to overhead environments.
Make your first contact with 'technical' diving and decide if you want to be part of the most adventurous matdivers and continue with XR training, to take part in our expeditions to wrecks and caves around the world.
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver, 12 logged and validated dives, 15 years old.

Successfully completes the proposed exercises and increases the range of tools for planning and carrying out dives in overhead environments.
Aimed at all audiences, this course is recommended for those who are unsure about taking the step into technical diving or for those who simply want a challenging course with a lot of completely new elements and procedures. The only requirement is to be over 15 years old.
It is recommended to do the speciality with your own equipment to fit it perfectly to your needs and physiology. If you do not have equipment, the centre will provide one for 12 Euros/day (material included in the price for Matdivers club members)
Online theory, face-to-face class + 2 practical application sessions (3-4 hours) 4 immersions
Once completed, you will receive the Advanced Wreck Diving certification and will be able to plan and conduct dives with limited penetration in overhead environments. You will be closer to achieving the Advanced Open Water Diver recognition.
Mandatory medical/hyperbaric insurance, if you do not have it we can arrange it for you on the spot at Mateua Dive. You can check the prices on the website
