The Mateua Dive DiveMaster programme offers the student an initial experience in the world of professional diving, being the most highly rated immersive experience among our candidates. Train with our more than 15 instructors in a centre with over 20 years of experience and two Instructor Trainers who will follow all your progress. Be part of our staff from minute one, eventually guiding certified divers by offering them an incredible experience and acting as a certified assistant in official training courses.

The programme will provide the candidate with the knowledge and skills necessary to guide certified divers and to act as a certified assistant in training courses.
For us, the goal is for you to have a real experience of what the life of a professional in the sector is like before deciding whether to invest your time and money in the ITC, and to finish the course feeling capable of working as a DiveMaster anywhere in the world.
Directed at people over 18 years old, with a minimum of 60 logged dives.
Stress & rescue
Having the following certifications or demonstrable experience in:
Night & Limited Visiblity, Deep Diving, Navigation
It is recommended to do the specialty with your own equipment to perfectly fit your needs and physiology. If you do not have equipment, the centre will provide one for 12 Euros/day (material included in the price for Matdivers club members)
The total duration of the course is 7 full days, we recommend 9-10 with a couple of breaks. The duration of the course will depend on the student's abilities and progress.
Option to do the course as an internship (contact us)
You will be certified in Dive guide and Science of Diving, in order to achieve the Dive Master once all documents are uploaded. You will be PRO!
Mandatory medical/hyperbaric insurance, if you do not have it we can arrange it for you on the spot at Mateua Dive. You can check the prices on the website
