DIVER STRESS & RESCUE
Continue your training with Mateua Dive and SSI with this specialty programme to become an advanced and Master Diver.
The Stress & Rescue programme provides the student with the necessary knowledge to identify stress and the skills to reduce it, thus preventing possible accidents. It also teaches how to act in the most common emergency situations.
At Mateua we want to end the false belief that in rescue you come to suffer, you come to learn, and although it is surely the most physically demanding course, we can adapt it to all types of students. You will not become a Navy Seal, but you will certainly feel infinitely more prepared to dive with any type of diver and have the capacity to help in everything surrounding this activity.
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver, minimum age 12 years, React Right or equivalent from another agency.

Successfully complete the proposed exercises and expand your range of tools to improve both your colleagues' experience and your own, knowing how to react and help us in case of an accident or emergency. You will know how to anticipate to prevent any situation from becoming complicated.
Aimed at all audiences, both those who do not feel completely comfortable underwater, those who want a challenge, or those who want to become professionals in the sector. The only requirement is to be over 12 years old.
It is recommended to do the specialty with your own equipment to perfectly adjust it to your needs and physiology. If you do not have equipment, the centre will provide one for 12 Euros/day (equipment included in the price for members of the Matdivers club)
Online theory, face-to-face class (2 hours), two confined water sessions and 4 open water sessions.
Once completed you will receive the stress & rescue certification. You will be closer to the Master Diver recognition and will be able to take the Dive Guide course.
Mandatory medical/hyperbaric insurance, if you do not have it we can arrange it for you on the spot at Mateua Dive. You can check the prices on the website
