Open Water Diver

The Mateua Dive Open Water Diver programme provides the student with all the tools and knowledge necessary to enjoy our favourite activity. Train with one of our SSI instructors in an idyllic setting along the Montgrí coast, dive at the same spots where certified divers go, and enjoy the landscape, flora and fauna hidden in our favourite coves and corners.
The training is designed to be suitable for all audiences and our staff ensures a full experience that meets both your needs and expectations!
Once certified you will receive your OWD qualification which will allow you to dive to a maximum depth of 18m with a buddy who has the same or higher qualification.

Suitable for all audiences, the only requirement is to be over 10 years old.
All the necessary materials to carry out the activity will be provided by the centre, you only need to bring a swimsuit and towel in case you want to shower once the activity is finished!
We recommend a minimum duration of 4 days so that the student has time to acquire and assimilate the knowledge that will be conveyed to them.
We will create a profile for you at SSI and you will receive the Open Water Diver certification! Everything will be ready in case you want to become an Advanced diver, we will advise you to choose the path that best suits your needs and/or goals.
